At the beginning of 2017, I was given the amazing opportunity to step up as manager in Curves Shawlands. At Curves we welcome women of any age, shape and size to feel comfortable and supported through their journey to achieve their goals. The Curves Shawlands team are professional, enthusiastic, motivated and determined to help every member and make them a priority by catering to everyone’s individual needs. We understand that for a lot of women they find gyms intimidating and quite a scary place to workout, especially if they are not sure what they should be doing on the equipment. Curves is a 30 minute effective, safe and fun workout which combines strength training, cardio and stretching all in one place.
The workout helps to develop lean muscle, raise metabolism, burn fat and tone up. A coach is always on hand and coaching on the circuit to encourage members while working out and to ensure the correct technique is always being used on every machine. We love to see the amazing changes in our members when working out, not only to lose or gain weight, but to increase their fitness and their confidence too. I invite all women to pop in and see the circuit for themselves and chat to our coaches & members about what Curves could do for you.
