Let’s get Physical Fitnessing

They say time flies when you are having fun, and it must be true, because, in the blink of an eye, August is coming to an end. Where did the time go? 

During August, members across the UK joined the Curves August Comeback Challenge. The challenge was designed to motivate members to keep active regardless of their situation. We know everyone is different, and each experience is unique. Therefore, the challenge included a set of soft activities and a mix of in-club and outdoor options. The idea behind it was to give members and clubs enough space to re-start their fitness routines. 

We are delighted to see our members' efforts through social media, and we want to say a big thank you to everyone for participating. Curves is more than a gym, it is a community. Throughout the lockdown, we have felt your energy; we have seen you joining online classes,  walking, running, jogging, and eating healthy meals. We have witnessed our Curves community grow stronger. 

 

We've done social distancing, let's get physical fitnessing!

As part of this combined effort, Curves Europe HQ staff also joined the August Comeback Challenge. Teams formed across departments, online workouts were planned and executed, and time zones were synchronized all with one goal in mind: to join clubs and members during the August Comeback Challenge. 

Together we walked a total of 2,359 miles during the first three weeks of August, and we completed more than 650 hours of active workouts. We embraced the Curves spirit and worked harder to become stronger every single day. 

Together, we are stronger!
